According to reports, British businessman Sir Jim Ratcliffe is looking to replace Erik ten Hag as manager of Manchester United.

According to Naija News, Ratcliffe, who has a 25% interest worth £1.3 billion, is set to take over football operations at the English Premier League team.

The Sun said that Ratcliffe had met with Graham Potter, the former manager of Chelsea, to take Ten Hag’s place at Manchester United.

Ratcliffe will have to reassess the situation if the Red Devils’ dismal performance doesn’t improve, but he won’t fire Ten Hag straight away immediately.

According to Naija News, United’s Champions League journey came to an end last week when they placed last in their group and were unable to advance to the UCL Round of 16.

In addition, the team is currently sixth in the Premier League standings, which sets up a pivotal matchup this coming weekend against Liverpool.
