According to Sport, Lionel Messi’s absence from Paris Saint-Germain training this week was due to an injury, not a disagreement with manager Christophe Galtier.

On Friday, there were rumors that Messi was dissatisfied with Galtier’s coaching and left the session early to go home.

It has since been revealed that the 35-year-old withdrew from training as a result of adductor pain.

Contrary to reports that he got into a fight with boss Galtier, Messi begged to go early and was given permission.

It’s unclear at this time whether the Argentina captain’s problem will prevent him from playing Sunday at PSG against Stade Rennais.
