In the United States, a toxicology test is being conducted as part of the autopsy to determine the cause of death for the late artist, Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known by his stage name, Mohbad.

This was confirmed on Wednesday by the Lagos Coroner Court located in Ikorodu.

O. Akinde, the state attorney, made this statement on Wednesday during the ongoing investigation.

Akinde notified Coroner Magistrate Adetayo Shotobi that the test was necessary because the autopsy on the deceased’s external body had been finished.

He said: “The toxicology test, which has to do with the internal body, is being done in the US.”

His revelation came after the deceased man’s father, David Fadimu, insisted on knowing the cause of the test result’s delay from his attorney.

Despite the existence of toxicology laboratories in Nigeria, the coroner, Magistrate Shotobi, had asked to know why a foreign toxicologist had been chosen.
