Famed for his Christmas gift of 100 million naira, Nigerian rapper and songwriter Wizkid received praise after he was seen doing outreach with local kids in the Surulere and Makoko slums of Lagos.

The musician promised on Monday, December 11, to give 100 million naira for Christmas to kids around the nation.

The singer has not disclosed the distribution of the funds, although he has been sighted with his bodyguards around Surulere and the Makoko area of Lagos State, Nigeria.


He had said he would start giving out cash in Surulere today.

On the other hand, videos posted on social media appeared to provide proof that the artist had traveled to Surulere and Makoko in Lagos State, Nigeria, today.
